| POLICE OFFICER - THE CITY OF MCCOOK, NE is accepting
applications and resumes (both required) for one Police Officer in
accordance with the McCook Civil Service Act. Written and oral exams
required. Applicants must be able to pass a background
investigation. Psychological evaluation and a drug test will be
required for the top three applicants certified as eligible for hire by the McCook Civil Service Commission. Law enforcement experience
preferred but not required. Must become certified as a Law
Enforcement Officer in the State of Nebraska and a First Responder within
one year. Salary range: $14.23-$17.94 per hour. Salary
dependent on qualifications. 42 hour work week. Full benefit
package. Application deadline: 4:00 P.M., July 18, 2008.
