Program Guidelines
McCook Public Transit system is a dial-a-ride system. Anyone, regardless of age, is eligible to ride the bus.
Make an Appointment
If you need to ride the bus, please call 308-345-6098 to make an appointment.
Fees
There is a $2 fee for each one-way trip.
Assistance
- If you need assistance to carry a package to your door let the dispatcher know when you make your appointment. Packages can weigh no more than 30 pounds.
- If you need personal assistance to board or de-board the bus you must provide someone to help you.
- If you have a child that needs to be in a car seat please tell the dispatcher so that the driver has the proper car seat available.
