2. Where can I get a building permit application?: You can obtain an application for a building permit at the office of the Building Inspector at 505 W. C Street. The cost of the permit is based on the size of the project.

Who has to be insured and licensed to do construction work in the City of McCook?: Any building contractors operating in the city must furnish $300,000.00 contractors liability insurance, with the City of McCook listed as a certificate holder and be a licensed contractor with the City of McCook prior to the issuance of each building permit.
