Due to the continuation of extreme heat and very high water usage, the City of McCook asks that citizens and residents voluntarily restrict their outdoor water usage between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
We also remind people that due to the extreme heat, low humidity levels and dry conditions, those setting off fireworks, do so responsibly. The dry weather increases the risk of fire in our area.
