Pre-Planning Inspections
The McCook Fire Department inspects a building with a walkthrough of the structure and draws a pre-plan of the building. It is a simple plan for firefighters to use in case of a fire in a building. Also during the walkthrough, points of entry and points of exit are found to use in case of a fire. Potential hazards to firefighters are also noted.
